The Isis Comedy Festival is a new venture from Kill for A Seat and they are kicking off with the likes of Robin Ince, Mitch Benn and Josie Long. 5 shows in total over 3 days and good value for money at no more than £10. Sounds like a winner to me!!

Violet Violet are following up critical acclaim from The Sunday Times for their album The City Is Full Of Beasts with what is due to be their final release (don't know why) The Ebony & Ivory EP. As you can hear it's a million miles from the McCartney/Wonder composition of the same name.
