Those that have been with us from the beginning may remember that my early forays into recorded music consisted of film soundtracks and TV themes (I know, I know) but the first 'chart' album I bought was Sky 2 by the British instrumental group er.....Sky.
I used to blast this out on my Amstrad 'entertainment' system, which I got for the 16th birthday, thinking that I was listening to 'classical' music - happy, innocent days!
This is the band, looking like a bunch of geography teachers from Stevenage, playing their 1 big hit. Herbie Flowers, the bass player, appeared on Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side don't you know!
We kick off our TunA week with a jaunty piece of pop from the Devon-based indie outfit The Quails.

This is the new single taken from their very impressive CD Master of Imperfection which just happens to be our Album of the Week (look there it is in the top right hand corner of the page).
They played Glastonbury at the weekend and you can catch 'em live at various festivals and venues during the summer.
