The new lap top I took delivery of on Wednesday has several interesting features, but the most amusing one is face recognition, which allows you to log on by staring at the in built web cam. 

I'm giving this gimmick a go (well I've paid for it) but you've got to feel sorry for the machine having to stare at my mug every morning. I might take pity on it and purchase something like this....

Echo Empire were another band that I saw on the BBC Introducing Stage at Wychwood this year.

They are very confident live performers who I think sound like a cross between U2 and Kasabian and their album, which is available from i-Tunes, is well worth checking out.
