Detach and play!

I had breakfast the other day. Did you Ade? That's fascinating, good for you!

Let me finish....which WAS good for 2 reasons -

1) The location was St. Giles Cafe which I haven't visited in yonks (if my healthy eating guru is reading this then no carbs were consumed honest guv).

2) My companion was the delightful Peter Harness (I'm starting to sound like Stephen Fry) who years ago, whilst still a student at Oxford, used to drive round the country with me having daft telephone conversations in the name of work (it's a long story) and who now is one of the UK's brightest screen writing talents.

If you haven't seen it yet then I can recommend Is Anybody There? which is very loosely based on his experiences growing up in a retirement home.

He and his Swedish wife are expecting their first child in Oct so huge congratulations.

OK that's quite enough of me being Piers Morgan!!

Today's TunA is a gutsy slab of rockin' blues by Stephen Dale Petit. This track is taken from a sampler for his new album The Crave which is a mix of original material and re-workings of classics by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Robert Johnson and Albert King. For all you blues fans it's out July 19.

Pip pip
