Detach and play!

As well as sharing the 'amusing' exploits of my 9 year old daughter with you (much to her potential embarrassment when she gets older) I have also been known to get bursts of parental pride at something she's done. This is one of those times.

Daisy painted this picture (on canvas) of her school choir. That's Mrs Payne behind the piano and Daisy is 4 in from the right.

She got a Gold Certificate, which alas does not guarantee her dad free beer for life, but did get a mention in assembly.

See dear, I CAN be nice about you sometimes!!

Today's TunA is a natty piece of indie pop from Kent band Elephants. They hail from Folkestone, which makes them Men of Kent or Kentish Men? I think it depends on which side of the Medway you are born. Anybody help me out?

Enough of this buffoonery; this came out as a single on Monday and I can highly recommend a listen to more of their stuff. As I can other material from Alcopop the label they reside with.

Give us your track reactions

Thanks to everybody that voiced concern about my sun burn....I'm peeling nicley.

Pip pip
