Detach and play!

This will be my 4th Wychwood and every year I find that I spend a large %age of my time near the Introducing Stage, which has nothing to do with the fact that it's by the beer tent!!

A lot of the really interesting music can be found there and it's where former TunA Artists such as Queens English, Avipaul and Rook & The Ravens have first come to my attention.

One band, who I already know about, gracing it on the Sunday are the rather wonderful Kill It Kid from Bath. Here's the video for Burst Its Banks.

I first heard Welsh-folk fusion exponents One String Loose at Wychwood in 2007 on the guess where stage?

Their music is bursting with energy and the standard of playing has just got better and better in the last few years, but the most impressive thing about them is how young they are...three 18 year olds and two guys in their mid-20s!!

Their new album, Kumquat, from where this track is lifted, is out now and they play on Sat 5.

Give us your track reactions and vote for your Wychwood TunA the Week

See you next week

Ade
