Well folks it's just 11 days until the 1st BIG music festival of the summer (and our fave) Wychwood. As we've done for the last couple of years this week we'll be featuring 5 of the artists and bands who'll be appearing.

Some of the 'names' on the bill include Seth Lakeman, Happy Mondays, Dreadzone, Levellers and The Leisure Society.

If you've never been it has a fantastic atmosphere and is perfect for families.

First up are The Arcadian Kicks. Managed by Jon Brookes (drummer from The Charlatans) this Birmingham-based band draw inspiration from such diverse artists as Led Zeppelin, Blondie & early Fleetwood Mac.

This is their debut single taken from the album Losing Friends, Making Lovers which will be out soon.

You can also download a track called Black & White for FREE if you visit their My Space site.

As an added extra The Independent are giving away lots of downloads from some of the artists playing the BBC Introducing Stage at Wychwood and you can get them HERE.
