Considered one of the pioneers of the news wave African music scene, Trenton (of Trenton & Free Radical) is originally from Johannesburg.

From a young age he was politically active campaigning against apartheid and joining the then banned, ANC party.

At the same time he developed an interest in music and went on to form the electro / rock group Anti-Gravity who charted with their release through Sony and toured with both the Prodigy and Faithless.

Their debut album is being produced by Dean James who's worked with Nitin Sawhney and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly.
