Detach and play!

This coming Saturday is Record Store Day when independent record retailers from all over the world celebrate not being HMV.

Like last year my local one Rapture (now the ONLY indie store in the whole of Oxfordshire) is taking part and promoting a veritable host of live music throughout the day and well into the night.

Acts including Danny & The Champions of The World, Mr Fogg, Two Fingers of Firewater and The Epstein will be playing and there is a free prize draw that could see you winning a pair of tickets to Wychwood, Truck and Cornbury music festivals.

If you can get down to visit it would be great to see you, but there are over 150 shops taking part all over the UK. So search the site, find your nearest one and go and support 'em!

All this week we'll be featuring music from bands that will be playing RSD in Witney and we kick off with seven of the hardest working, hardest drinking, hardest playing jazz musicians this side of the Pond - The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band.

The guys, who've recently been featured on Mark Lamar's Radio 2 show, will be headlining the daytime fun and very kindly recorded this track especially for TunA the Day.

Give us your tracks reactions

Keep rocking in the free world

Ade
