In an episode of the Fox TV drama Bones last year, a character made a compilation mix of “the six greatest break-up songs” and gave it to a heart-broken colleague. It featured songs from established artists such as Sia, Mazzy Star, José González, Antony and the Johnsons…and a lone unsigned one by the name of Aaron English.

For the past five years the Seattle-based piano-man has been steadily building a buzz in the U.S., thanks to two self-released albums and three national tours with his seven-piece ensemble, The Aaron English Band.

His new album is out at the end of March and he'll be touring like a loon to support it in the spring and summer, although you'll have to travel over the pond to see him!!
