Detach and play!

Until recently Oxfordshire only had 1 independent record shop (and that wasn't even in Oxford) but now that terrible state of affairs is about to change thanks to a new venture between our friends at Rapture Entertainment and the guys that run the Truck family of events.

Truck Store opens on Thursday 10 Feb on the Cowley Road in Oxford and will not just sell music, but comics, coffee, event tickets and will generally be a hub for local bands and all things brilliant. If you are in the area @ 6pm then get yourselves down there...live bands including The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm Band, Ute and The Dreaming Spires will be playing on the purpose-built stage and delicious Cotswold lager will be on tap.

Conceived as a sort of situationist prank by a group of Norfolk based misfits Scumbag Philosopher are a nihilist-baiting mismatch of a crazed girl mauling her two drum kit. a grumbling, misanthropic, borderline aspergers front man and cascading, caterwauling guitars. So there!!
