What was that about Huge Cock?
The Mid West accent is a mistake, as it slips and "The Goddam People in it.." Doesn't get easier to hear because it's repeated again and again. Feeling strongly about something doesn't make preaching any easier to hear.
The Myspace press quote that compares him to early Neil Young is fair enough but his dependence on simplistic hackneyed rhyming couplets Young would never have fallen for 40 years later suggest it's a quote he will one day rue. He has a good ear for a tune and a sweet voice but needs to clothe his anger and frustration in metaphor if it is to be palatable and effective as a protest song .
