This man's music is amazingly wide ranging and a fine example here, a strangely modernized rockabilly. There is a melancholy running through most of the work.
The arrangements are spare and gaunt, the songs cryptic and fascinating. I'm unsure why I feel repelled.

I'll send you my review Mr C. I think it's such a personal work that it can make for uncomfortable listening, but I think it is a tremendous album.
