It's a fine piece of work but not obvious single material.(their myspace says its the new single).

"Don't worry" is a much better pop song and shows potential they seem to be suppressing: The Lead Guitar has some considerable skill in blues breaks and the singer has a great overdrive (scream) both of which they are wise to restrain.

There are lots of pop/rock bands around like this, a good thing for our music scene, a bad thing for identity. What will give them the edge?

Well there's no other band around called The Quails! Except for that other band called The Quails. Damn and blast!!

Lots of variation and packed with good ideas. I particularly like the singer's voice. For all the very Pop-py touches it is much too complicated to be a catchy Pop tune (this is good in my book, but not as a sign of impending international success)
