Absolutely brilliant. There are successful artists who show less invention over a whole career than this band show in 4 minutes. Already sad that they are going to split up but very glad that I've heard this.
(I suspect they could get annoying in large doses if they play around with their vocals all the time)

Oooohh.... Such nice words from both of you!
Coolnoise: You can listen to all Invocal's music on their website so you can decide if it gets annoying after a while or not :-)
Also, if you sign up to the mailing list, you'll be the first to hear about the new project that will incorporate all the best bits of Invocal with fab new stuff.
*end of promotional talk*
Thanks to TunAtheDay for putting Invocal up here!

Since the (long gone) Bristol based band, "Shoes for Industry" and their album "Talk like a Welk" which feature tracks like "The invasion of the French Boyfriends" and "Violent stabbing with a knife", I've looked for an act that could compete in strange titles.
The 2009 album "I've tried saying no to slugs" is on my shopping list after I've downloaded "Strange sugar".
This is lovely stuff, beautifully played and sung, skillfully wrought in every detail, witty and strong and I add my sincerest wishes to them for future success in whatever projects they found. I've added my details to their mailing list.
Reminded me strongly of the lovely Lorraine Bowen, pioneering queen of low tech and her contribution to "The Chalkwell Ladies".

Why a punt? You don't like it yourself or is it not something you would normally put on here? Just going through some of the previous tracks and there is LOADS of nice stuff here :-)
