Maybe this is not meant to be light hearted but the second half, which blasts in with loads of interesting stuff, relevant to the subject of the song and very jolly, makes me wonder why they waited so long. Is it hip to be that nerdy and not scare off your timid listener with a bit of chanting and thrash?
