I guess there is a wish to offend, either in the name of the band, the subject matter of the song or the presentation of it. It's a bit of a throwback to 1970 and something Sid Barrett might have written.

Naive, scruffy, vulnerable yet also threatening (not a Sid thing) and pathetic. It's good, but I wonder how much, even as an anthem for doomed youth, their audience can take.

Hot Chip video "I Feel Better" All the money to spend on a video and this is the best they came up with, not sure there is understanding in pap. Sure there's a nice l'il beat and smooth vocals, but nothing new, nothing to make ya sit up.

No Bra, not surprised it's very flat chested.
Sounded like a good idea, but didn't seem to have any focus point in the track, a little chanty, a little vague

Consider me 'whooshed' by No Bra - can't see the point of it at all.

The Hot Chip video kept me watching until the very end. Found the video very entertaining although the actual music was horrendous. Made me cheer when the band were taken out...

Listening to this changed my mind about who should win the Mercury Prize. These 4 lads from Kendal come across like a cross between The Smiths, Joy Division and Talking Heads. Hypnotic and utterly great. CD £5 inc. p&p / Download £6.95
