The Big Top or a bunch of clowns?

The style is big 80's style pop. I was a bit disappointed as the band's name and the track title were so evocative and the track a bit naive and a bit too literal to represent my expectations.

The singer needs to watch his pitching in places and the Americanism, which was dropped almost at once, was not good on my ear. Thomas Dolby's 1988 album "Aliens ate my Buick" much more to my taste.
