This has all the hallmarks of an early eighties fagbeat track which, although I found utterly repugnant at the time led, to some sensational late night experiences(less said soonest mended).
Without dozens of Clones in 501s and checked Ben Sherman shirts it has no appeal to me whatever.

I think we'll leave those memories well alone ;-)

Thanks for the feedback. I have to say I hadn't heard it compared to an 80s style. I was asked by Leanne to write a dance track for her and my intention was to keep it funky house, maybe my love of 70s disco was in the drivers seat. So maybe somehow the end result was in the dark days between disco and club scenes?
I'm not sure how I feel about the homophobic sounding term "fagbeat". not something I'd ever heard of. When I googled it I worryingly got links to Westbro Southern Baptist Church :o/
I’ll be using it to describe myself from now on though to be on the safe side
Anyway, always enjoy feedback, esp negative as people tend to be more honest when dissing! I shall send more tracks soon for your demolition, in the meantime AC I hope you don't mind me lifting your quote for my MySpace page?
Leanne and I are currently working with Dean Bagent (Shepherds Pie - see them at Fat Lil's this Saturday) on one of his songs
