He makes the American Radio Rock sound pretty effortless. The chorus is very familiar but very effective, the verse, to me, is just relentlessly predictable and just happened, certainly more effort needed there.

The best moment is the quiet bit, the value of silence is never to be over estimated in rock music, creating drama, tension and above all, contrast.
