Great unit this. I like the intro a lot and am sorry we didn't get more of it. The song writing is not, to my mind, up to the quality background.

The vocal melody is poor and over repetitive against lyrics which are good but not good enough to carry the lack of a tune. The tiny variations that the singer puts in are a joy but too few.

Much as I loved Ian Dury, he did not as the titles suggest, define the sound of the 80's and without him, the Blockheads sounded rather like Level 42.

I'm sure Chaz Jankel feels forgotten by history already, perhaps the reason for this film.

turning to the site a bit late after struggling in to work through Siberian blizzards across the vast tundra of Penge....not keen on the vocal delivery and the toon doesna grab me but this is possibly because my mood is down looking at the Cricket score !! bugger............
