There is a Thom Yorke wobble to the voice but I found it dangerously unstable in the more demanding lines where he has not enough diaphragm control to support it. It's a sweetly moving number and the backing is really carefully woven. If this is Alt.Folk it's come a long way.

im getting more "jolene, jolene, im begging of you please dont take my man" in the guitar refrain, or is that just me and the mince pies...i do like it though. I see vast Russian plains in the winter snow, with a solitary figure walking away from the camera.......! Nurse, nurse !!!!!!!!!!!
