Each to their own RHM, each to their own :-)

They'll be TunAs all the way up to Xmas Eve!

When there was a pair of real needles and real decks I can see why a very long leader was necessary. I almost dropped off while waiting for the sound to come up out of some sort of deep drain.

Isn't this Tangerine Dream meets Shakatak? I cannot imagine a more odd pairing but I'm sure it's fine for the "brain out of gear boogie" that takes place late at night in strangely lit gay clubs that I know absolutely nothing about (anymore).

Substance definitely required, in every sense! Sober, I think this is dreadful. How often do I give a verdict like that?

It's hard to fault the "And then there were three" Genesis (I think there were generally 7 of them) for musicianship generally, but Mike Rutherford is crap at guitar solos, mind you Steve Hackett was no genius in that department either. Who's the cute little guy at the front though? Why's he singing the blues?

You can't mean 'Uncle' Phil? The bloke playing guitar is Daryl Stuermer who played with the band on live gigs from '78.

Not worth asking me for opinions about disco - but I did quite like the 'disco through an ambient filter' in the first section. In the above analogy: like Tangerine Dream, hate Shakatack.

As for Genesis, all my schoolfriends were very into them. I saw them at the New Theatre on the Selling England By The Pound tour but I wasn't impressed at them not doing encores (prima donnas).

I didn't understand the post-Gabriel Genesis - sounded to me like the post Lou Reed Velvet Underground e.g. no relation at all.
