Well I think they are one of the finest unsigned bands knocking about, but how about YOU?

Lovely though it is, this track is not going to get them mainstream airplay, it's too independently Alt.Country.

The best and hardest way to a contract is to do what they are doing. Finding an audience and growing it.

When the point comes that they are selling well enough to attract majors, they will be able to dictate terms for their artistic future as well as the financial issues.

It's an awful business, they need to make it their business. They certainly have the songs.

The good non-music thing about them is they're bright and hard working.

They have a big following in Europe and will convert most people if they get to see them live.

well, it might not get the airplay, but I've played three times already this morning. Great, I feel sufficiently energised to go and dig up ground elder for a few hours. They never show that bit of having an allotment on Gardener's World...

It is such a good song and performance that I didn't once think 'you have to be American to play Country'. That puts them up there with the Broken Family Band, in my book.

Q Magazine compared them to The Broken Family Band too!
