It has the austerity of a monastery cell and the tone of self flagellation. I loved it. The voice is very individual and the quality of the writing is excellent.

I love the way that some bands use huge orchestration to create intense music - but a solo voice and guitar can outdo them in the intensity stakes. I've been listening to it repeatedly over the last day and still want to hear it again. Took me a little time to get used to his voice but once I did I can just admire the songwriting and performance
