Paul McCartney wrote "Silly Love Songs" which advocates a genre that never really appealed to me.

The Decemberists use drama and tragedy like you find in traditional music to spice up whatever lovers they describe.

I wonder, in its very short life, if there is room for something else alongside the rather simplistic content of this number.

Perhaps one of the lovers, buried under the cherry tree, the other dancing with the memory of her/him? All we get is "Will you miss me...?" At the moment, there's not a lot to miss. Very prettily made though!

Short but sweet. Simplistic maybe but sometimes that's a good thing. Enjoyed.
