I suppose, with "cut and paste", now so easy in sound editing, we should expect strange splicing like this. I find this track very odd. I like it most when it kicks into that hard rock thing at the end. The overly "Straight" vocal sounds stuck on rather than part of the song, the poor woman doesn't have a melody to sing. Avipaul is a fan of this sound? Mmmnn!

I'll play you another track next week and see if you still have the same opinion.

oh no....Bass reminds me of "Planet Earth", old Durans first hit ! quite like the juxtaposition of toons on this and deffo wakes me upon a Monday morning. Talking of Gas and Air, Tom had the "giggling juice" when he put his knee out a few weeks back....laugh? we couldna stop....put that on prime time Saturday TV and the BBC would have a winner...."People on Gas"....well worth the License fee....!

I think you'll find they call it X Factor RHM - well it's always good for a laugh anyway.

I really liked today's track. Had no idea what's going on (welcome to my world) but liked the vocal - reminded me of Erykah Badu in places?

Have just parted with yet more plastic cash for record of the week ... sigh ......
