Sweet and mournful. I'm not sure I could stand the slightly slack jawed gloominess for too long. This is probably not the band's intentions. The guitar and Trumpet/Flugelhorn are particularly prettily intertwined.
Etymologicallly speaking, I was asked what the origin of OK was. I was interested for the first few hours of reading on the subject. Phew!

You at home can achieve the same effect by putting a fruit pastille on your tongue then trying to sing.

Interesting voice - maybe would grate after a while but the "Cat Power with lockjaw" works for me, very much. Unlike AC I want more more more of the gloominess. If the album continues in this vein then it shall be mine...
