for some strange inexplicable reason, the guitar reminds me of a Clash song, the nameofwhich escapes me....yeah, not bad to wake me up on a brand new working week. Must remeber the "leave some chocolate" trick, next time I stay at a Motel...! Probably a Curley Wurley...mwa mwa...

They name the Clash as an influence so I'm sure the riff has a Clash-esq feel to it.

I'd watch leaving your curly wurley you nevet know when you'll need it!!

I think the song is ok ish and there's no denying the Joe Strummer sound of the singer but the band don't really sound like the Clash.

The song on the video is much more individual and I think the singer could find something that isn't Joe or Bruce Springsteen and go with that.

He's got great feel and great timing. If they keep a radical edge they could go far but the pop end of this market is swamped with great bands not quite getting there.

I think some of their other songs are more representative of their style.
