Not exactly but then Lily, Kate and co are fine in short bursts but couldn't face long term submersion. The album of the week though is a different matter ....

PS Billy Bragg shares my birthday so I'm in good company!

Brendan Benson's album is a corker!!

Do have a listen to yesterday's if you didn't get the chance.

I have a choice of Alexander O'Neil or Freddie Garitty :-(

Today's Tuna is very ...twingly. It's fey but not terminally fey. One for a sunny Sunday morning drive to a plant nursery, I think. Gosh, the lives we live in the fast lane.

I share my birthday with forgettable stars , but Connie Francis' Stupid Cupid was number 1 - I remember dancing to this when my big sister played it on the Dansette, aaah.

I'm greatly impressed! The proximity to Lily Allen and Regina Spektor are not offensive rip off. They also remind me in an odd way to The Selector which is a big influence on Lily stylee inni'

Yes 'Twingly'. Have no idea what it is but think it might be good so put me down for some.

Very clever, very pretty and, yes 'twingly'. (Great word, ought to be added immediately to the OD.) Lulu et al remind me of Lavender Diamond but with a lighter touch. And made me smile.
