Early Johhny Cougar before the Meloncamp (why was that ever a selling point). They are heading into a force nine gale in their chosen market. With Bruce Springsteen so far out in front but tiring occasionally and his chosen successors "The Gaslight Anthem" are sh*t ho* live, if a little raucus for Bruce's audience per se. Kizzy Star are slick and clean and in with a chance if they can kiss a*se the way they'll need to to make it.

I like anthemic qualities - which this does indeed have - but onot in an instantly memorable whistle-able (is there such a word) a minute or two later. Add touches of U2 to the hint of Snow Patrol / Killers.
