I like his voice and what he is doing with it. A touch of vibrato, a few folkisms, and playing around with phrasing like David Byrne used to. I will look forward to his album

Steve Harley was the name that most came to me on hearing this, I liked the structure the quality and particularly the skipping guitar patterns. Something was disconcerting about the overall sound I can't quite get at. The vocal is thick in the mix in an awkward way. Great song and lovely words too.
