I didn't think much of this on first listen this morning. But now it's lunch time I can relax and hear it properly.

The sound reminds me of singer-songwriters in the 1960s, I keep on thinking of guest singers on the Val Doonican show with that quietly picked guitar and later appearance of strings.

Really rather beautiful.

Sort of Noel Harrison (or maybe Gordon Lightfoot) meets the Moody Blues,I think. Very pretty and I suspect it could well be a grower.

I liked the voice most when it was extended and emotional falsetto in the middle 8. It's a bit too nice for my liking and if he's not from Canada, why's he doing the accent?
