Are The Brownies to your taste or have they fudged it?

Can you see what I did there?

I don't know what they're getting at really. Sounds a bit like the Dickies but with a very cruel subtext.

I was at Heaven last night for the return of Genesis P-Orridge and Throbbing Gristle. Now I have existentialist angst. In a world where nothing remains to shock and every form of counter culture becomes mainstream.

Are we tempted to become extremists? Wah!!!!!

Listening to the lyrics again they HAVE got it in the person a tad!!

If that lyric was written and sung by a bloke then there would be an outcry about violence against women. Unless it is meant to be from the point of view of a nasty bloke...or it is Post-Modernist Ironic...

Anyway, the punky girlie thing always sounds good to me but maybe because I still like the Mo-dettes and Delta 5. Spirited if a little Retro.

Of course it COULD be about a female!

You are right - there i was being all hetero-centric.

1. female singing about a female
2. female singing about a male
3. male singing about a female
4. male singing about a male

I think in case 3 the lyrics would cause some shock and outrage - if sung by a male.

My head hurts so I am going to lie down...

Sophie informs me that it is infact about a girl! Just to clear that one up, its about when she and our bassist were on a pill that made them very emotional... or something!
