Named after a shrub, but does he cut the mustard with you?

Going to his myspace page was an education as there were only 3 artists in a list of about 15 that I'd heard of as his influences! Boards of Canada? Angry of Leighton Buzzard?
My favorite bit was the echo chamber near the end, reversed samples and lots of space.
I didn't care for the straight finger picked passages even with their effects, one thing was: digital double tracking the picking so they were out of phase resulted in sounding like he couldn't play it in time with the track? When you can play as well as he can?
I like the skill and the sensitivity, I'm up for the learning experience and need to hear more.

His EPs are excellently experimental and well worth a punt!

I didn't like the out of phase thing either. I'd love to hear this recorded without the 'double tracking'? (Don't have Andy's technical knowledge or tatlent!) BUT I did like it and it's definitely my kind of thing.
Reminds me in places of Porcupine Tree. Is that on his list of influences?
Anyway, will probably buy whatever he has available - after a bit more listening! Ta for this.

Thanks for your interest everyone. much appreciated!
I know what you mean about the double guitars, i figured i'd use the stereo panning to it's potential. However, one of the guitars is a 12-string which naturally gives out a phasing/chorus sound. But thanks for your kind compliments and constructive critcism! - I'll keep it considered within my recording learning curve :)
and cheers for biggin me up Ade!
Andy.
