Are you keen on James?

Can you see what I did there? Stephen Fry has got nothing on me!

I've just listened to this again - does anybody else think HE sounds a bit like Tracy Chapman?

Brit Blues, I suppose, is now a "traditional" form. This is a wonderful song, performed magnificently. Fabulous voice, disturbingly like Joan Armatrading. I had a vision of this fresh face in ten years, raddled by drugs and alcohol, I hope this aspect of the Brit Blues tradition does not fit his Kharma! Great discover, Ade!

RHM - ouch for Tom's toe. My 2 worst cricketing injuries were fractured cheekbone in the 70's before helmets and a flattened finger thanks to a Middlesex Colt showing off to Angus Fraser, Gladstone 'no neck' Small and Chris Adams!!

Mr C. - Joan, that was the other voice I heard along with the ones in my head telling me to.......I'll stop there in case plod is reading ;-)

Never mind the cricket banter - back to the music. You could have nearly persuaded me this was Joan Armatrading, but I do understand the Tracy Chapman comment; it's that mournful sense of pity in the singers tone.

Never mind the cricket??!!&&^^%%

I shall have you know sir that the sport of 'flanneled fools' runs tunes a close first in my affections!

Glad it wasn't just me with the Tracy Chapman connection. See RHM I'm not the only one that's been drinking :-)

Lindsay thinks he sounds like Chris De Burgh - at least it's the right sex!

I can hear where the Tracey Chapman and Joan Armourplating references come from and he is quite similar to them!

It's a good song but not as catchy or moving as anything either Tracey or Joan might come up with.

Very nice track indeed and got my foot tapping as much as anything I've heard recently. I think he sounds like James Keen
