A lovely summer sound. The voice reminds me, bizarrely, of Nina Simone.
A very skilled and thoughtful vocalist, dare I say it, sounds Drama School trained in the delivery.
Very sophisticated and a delightful arrangement.

I'm sure Mr H would revel in your comparison with Ms Simone Mr C.

Listening to this changed my mind about who should win the Mercury Prize. These 4 lads from Kendal come across like a cross between The Smiths, Joy Division and Talking Heads. Hypnotic and utterly great. CD £5 inc. p&p / Download £6.95
