Although some of the words in the rap are great, I think the track neither needs it nor suits the sudden introduction of the talk-over.
Prince has a total commitment to his performances, making his songs believable with the passion of his delivery, this lacks that bite. It is sweet and assured, the vocal is clean if a little unadventurous and the harmonies are lovely.
