So which is your fave? The original version by Coolio or this?

OR don't you like either?

Do tell......

"Songs in the key of life" Marked Stevie Wonder out as one of the great singer songwriters of the 20th century. I'm sure Coolio intended homage rather than rip off when he took the chorus but I just thought it was lazy. This artists is a greatly skilled, dedicated performer but I found myself asking why this? I never really get covers and they very rarely have a meaning for me. P.S.I've now been to listen to his own music which is great, but the need for "Fake American" to justify "blues" is always a problem for me.
One of my new enthusiasms is Welsh music. Rock and blues in Welsh works very well for them and sounds really different.
