I like it, but yours is the voice that counts...

The voice is good but my vote goes in for the guitar, which is restrained, thoughtful and really delicate in the opening. Anyone remember The Only Ones "Why don't you kill yourself?" Can't remember the name of the album but it was closer to the Velvet underground and Television than to any british Punk influence, as you say, Ade, a very New York style. Quite lovely! The Only Ones are apparently touring again after more than 2 decades clean.

Only Ones ... I still have the 12" of 'Another Girl, Another Planet' ... superb!
Must keep my eye out for them!

I loathed this the first time round so struggling to like it although this version is a vast improvement on the original.
