Being an old crock I get the feeling that I've heard this before. Sounds very reminiscent of Franz Ferdinand? Probably great live but didn't do it for me on this grey Friday morning.

This is straight out of the "Drums and Wires" period of XTChttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drums_and_Wires (ye gods! it's 30 years ago next year!), if it is parallel evolution the similarity is uncanny. Great work boys. Some very good things this week but this track easily carries off my vote for energy, commitment&style. They will need someone like Steve Lillywhite to produce (his Wiki page does not credit XTC for shame!) or the equally wonderful Hugh Padgham.
