Blimey! We're getting "genre lag"! Quite a leap from yesterday.
They have chosen a brutally forward mix that exposes tiny imperfections in the performance in the way that they would have been in the sixties. If this is authenticity in performance it is laudable but I'm not sure will please the public, who have got so used to a comforting wall of sound.

Just one mention of the word "funky" and I'm straight there. This wasn't quite what I expected but nevertheless I liked it very much. Checked out their other tracks on MS and they are also great. Will be parting with cash for this one.

more my aural toast and marmite....! too fussy and busy. Sorry Native State but it reminded me of a Sade B side speeded up. Anyway, excuse me , nurse is coming back with the medication...!
