Yeahhh. Lets get back to the good old days of Grammar and Secondary Modern and the 11+, teachers who REALLY didn't give a shit, the selling off the playing fields for housing developments, schools that REALLY were decaying ...

Love the skipping guitars. The voice is wonderful(very like a great but little known singer these days-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richie_Havens), the overall feel has a novelty of a sort but is also reminiscent of so much traditional music (Southern US, Mali etc). Lovely work Russell!!!!!

I'll let the Captain and RHM sort that one out between themselves. I thought he sounded very much like Richie Havens Mr.C!!

There's a certain Richie-esque quality. I love this track!

Listening to this changed my mind about who should win the Mercury Prize. These 4 lads from Kendal come across like a cross between The Smiths, Joy Division and Talking Heads. Hypnotic and utterly great. CD £5 inc. p&p / Download £6.95
