If he isn't a protégé of the brothers Finn his sound is a spooky coincidence, though they don't really dabble in the alt.country which I think is a bit misplaced here. It's mellow and easygoing, perhaps the main reason why Crowded House never really sat well with me. Music for grown-ups, a market that deals in big brand names and how you break into that I have no idea. Good luck with it Chris.
