Listened to this a couple of times. There is a sort of campness about the track which doesn't quite work for me. Kept getting flashbacks to Alvin Stardust with his "Coo Ka Tchoo"?! I know .... I probably need help ....... Preferred the other track featured (Set them Free).

It's dark alright! It has marched away from dance traditions, although it's notionally swing but it just doesn't. It's more akin to Cabaret song and Kurt Weil/Berthold Brecht sinister collaborations of the 1920s/30s. I like it in the way I like Siouxie Sioux. Carefully!
