She's back for another bite of the TunA pie, give us your thoughts on her version of the Portishead standard.

It's a good song and she has a good strong , 'listenable' voice (even if it sounds like she's trying a tad too hard in places). Can't say I'd stop to listen to this though.

I'm sorry but at the risk of being lynched I have to ask "why"? Nice voice but totally lacking in any passion or conviction on this cover.

I agree with Sara Brown...this is a live vocal and my first gig after recovering from a bad throat problem, so everything is pushed unfortunately. The main reason i did this song at a gig was becoz it was a bit different and quirky and a few of the people there are Portishead fans, the normal public don't know Portishead so i agree that it's an obscure choice. Surprised u chose this number to use but hey ade u have ur reasons! Thanks for adding me on anyway! georgee x

Sorry, this doesn't really add anything to the original, if you ask me. I am a bit of a fan of Beth Gibbons voice and the original album, so it would have been tough to top the original.

Don't mind Georgee's voice, though. Will have a listen to other stuff on myspace just to see what she's like doing other material

I chose it 'coz I like the track and felt you had guts to cover it.

Having a bit of background from Georgee can fully sympathise with the throat problem and probably explains what I perceived as a lack of emotion. Probably not a good choice of song all round albeit with the best of intentions. I think the song is pretty well known and Beth Gibbons voice is very distinctive.

Loved this cross cultural treatment, the soulful voice (very exposed and obviously very much under control), the rock elements work very well together. Excellent! The artists' name sounds as though one should expect a pouting, breathy, no brainer, so this is even more of a pleasant surprise.
