Impassioned and some of those harmonies remind me a lot of Reggae. Very nice.

I feel I've written about this song several times before. Still a no.

Glad you like Coolnoise

This may not be the last time you write those words Paul

I bought "Rising Tide" too and listening through the link, in order to save trawling through the untidy stacks, I'm still hugely impressed by the depth and variety of that debut.

This is an excellent track but as the blurb says, it's less "Zimrock" a kind of pan African pop that will no doubt get them a lot of plays. I miss the brooding of "Masangano" and the home spun hip hop of "Njoka" and I hope they are doing what they feel and not what their management tells them. Zimbabwe is still a difficult place to be yourself and speak your mind.

I loved King Gizzard live. Fantastic happy vibe. Recorded, listening that bit more closely, it's possible edging a tad too close to pastiche for me, but definitely fun, fun, fun :-)

I gotta take a pass on ethnographic reviews...just don't see the point.

King Gizzard is hot here too, talking to a young (17) guitarist this morning. He doesn't get all the obvious historical styles they employ but it sure beats the Gangsta rap and Eminem he was listening to previously.

She didn't exactly set your ears on fire when we featured her as TunA back in March, but give the album a listen and see if things change.
