6 more excellent numbers on his site. 1 of which is a witty take on "One step beyond". Never thought I'd hear "You're the boil on my bum" in a song but we live and learn.

I wonder at the combination of truly masterful (if a trifle guttersnipe) lyrics and carefully crafted instrumentation in a genre that obviously fascinates him but which is not really up to carrying these complex songs to people capable of "getting" them.

Reminds me of the Reluctant Stereotypes, a wonderful, left wing band on the edge of the Two Tone scene, their songs were too complex and too intellectually challenging for the crowd that worshipped The Beat and The Selecter.
