Is this your idea of musical heaven?

"The closest thing to heaven" in a long time. Their Myspace lists Tom Petty at the head of their influences.

This is a great recorded sound. They are blending a love of AM Country with 80's Power Pop UK style, very much more at home in the latter. They seem to have dropped "Dusty" from their name, formerly "Dusty and the dreaming spires". A good thing in this guise, I think.

Loving US pop doesn't mean you need to do it to be successful and they certainly don't from this showing. Wonderful track. Head out that way boys, leave the ranch behind! Waterboys, Big Country, Simple Minds etc.

Glad you like it Mr C - one of the freshest tracks I've heard on a long time.

Nope not for me, the final half when the singing stops has an annnoying repetive few bars in the background that sound like an Amercian fire engine stuck at the traffic lights to me.
