Do you dig this or would you rather not? Can you see what I've done there?

Very witty Wilde!

If there were marks for technical merit in a skiffle competition, this would be olympic standard.

It has youthful vigor and innocence, it has clever little rhythmic skips that keep you guessing. Lonni Donegan, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and even a touch of Sha na na pastiche.

It could keep him in work for a long time. I hope some big time country singer picks up on his songwriting talent. I wish I could enjoy his voice but "Follow your Footsteps" is a wonderful song which I could certainly here in a number of big country rock arrangements.

Nostalgia's not what it used to be Ade!

Very rare I can say that something was before my time - but skiffle was, and I suspect it is destined to stay that way.
